The C19 Challenge for Royal British Legion
I decided to support the C19 Challenge and put my personal challenges to good use by raising some money for Royal British Legion.
These workouts are designed with simplicity in mind so they can be done at home. But don’t be fooled…..they are tough! The idea is to put everything into each one and leave nothing out there! So let’s see how it went.
Workout 1 (05/11) 22 minutes, as many rounds as possible
20 Hollow Rocks, 5 Chest to floor, 20 Unweighted Thrusters, 5 Chest to floor.
Overall this went well. Nice mixture of movements and the Hollow Rocks really hammer the core. 11 rounds managed, although it wasn’t pretty….
Workout 2 (6/11) Descending Ladder (descending in 2’s)
20 decline press ups, 20 wide arm hand release press ups, plus every minute on the minute 5 diamond press ups.
Not going to lie. This was a beast of a workout. Decline press ups were difficult and my abs still ached from yesterday. But the real killer here was the 5 diamond press ups every minute. It meant that, as there was no time limit on the workout, the longer you made it last the more diamond press ups you had to do!
So that was the first two workouts. Give them a try! I’ll let you know how the other workouts in the series went in the next post.
